
Península Valdés
Northeast Region located in the province of Chubut, with a total area of approximately 400,000 hectares. It is one of the biggest tourist attractions of Patagonia that is projected in the Atlantic Ocean with its formidable coasts with cliffs. It’s been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999 due to the extensive biodiversity of flora and fauna, preserved through the provincial Protected Areas system.
Called also "Comprehensive Reserve," includes the Operating Units of Punta Norte, Punta Delgada, Caleta Valdes, Isla de los Pajaros, Punta Piramides and Istmo Carlos Ameghino in a total distance by gravel road of 250 km.
This makes it a unique and privileged place when choosing among various outdoor activities, in touch with nature and incredible scenic points worthy of being contemplated.
Peninsula Valdes Excursion
Duration: Full day.
Season: all year, the itinerary and the visits to the reserves may vary depending of the wildlife.
Includes: Transfer and bilingual Spanish / English guide (consult other languages).
Not included: optional or personal expenses.
Optional: Franca Austral Whales watching (June-December) and Wildlife Navy watching (January-March: dolphins, sea lions and cormorants).
Lunch and intermediate meals. Adventure activities such as snorkeling, hiking, kayaking, etc.
