Punta Tombo Located 130 km from Trelew and Rawson to the south, it’s the mainland's largest colony world of Magellan penguins. It hosts about 800,000 penguins, which arrive to the coast in the beginning of September and leave the area in mid-April. Walking among the penguins by the authorized trails, observe guanacos, choiques and birds, such as Giant Petrel, Skua, Cara Cara, Cook Gaviota. These are one of the possibilities that gives you the area.
